Santa Ponsa is a traditional package holiday resort situated on Mallorca's south-west coast, and offers a number of high-rise apartment blocks and a large selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The large sandy beach boasts all the usual amenities and is very popular, especially during peak season. The resort's many bars and nightclubs contribute to the a lively evening atmosphere, the even livelier resorts of Palma Nova and Magaluf are close by.

When to go

The major resorts on the south and eastern coast are open all year but you will find that the majority of resort in the north close between November and April. Temperatures in the south average in the low 20's Celsius during the winter months but rise to the high 20's during the summer peak season.
